Domain Name Control Panel
(for clients with tariff domains)

Q: Why do I need the domain name control panel?
A: You get access to the domain name control panel after registration in the domain name control panel. Along with access to the panel you can:

• check availability of the domain;
• register domains on your account, and the number of domains you can register is unlimited (but you can park only the number of domains alloted to your package plan);
• renew your domains yourself;
• view the lists of domains registered in your name (but only those that were registered on your behalf in our domain name control panel);
• change nameservers of the domains yourself;
• enter and change Whois data on your own;
• add money to the balance of your account on the "domain" site;
• make payment for your domain on your own;
• view all the actions made in the panel;

Q: How to register on "the domain site"?
A: Go to http://www.hqhost.net/en/domain.html, press the button "Registration", then move to "New Customers Click here to Signup >>". Fields with the asterisk * are mandatory.
PLEASE NOTE! Fill in the fields using Latin characters.
After the registration the login for authorization in the control panel is the email address used for the registration, the password is also specified during the registration.

Q: How to get to the Domain Name Control Panel.
A: Go to http://domains.hqhost.net/ and enter the login and password specified during the registration on the "domain site".

Q: How to register a new domain?
A: To register you should:

1. enter the Domain Name Control Panel.
2. choose "Domains" - "Domain Registration " - "Check availability".
3. enter the domain name you want to register, enter just the name without extension, choose the extension in the drop-down list..
4. if the domain name is available and you want to register it, press the "Add the chosen domain names into the cart ".
5. mark the option "I agree to No Spam Policy" and press "Pay".
6. you'll be requested to specify name servers responsible for the domain zonethen. If you are not going to host this domain on our company's servers, specify name servers of your future hoster.
7. press "Continue" button, after that you'll be taken to the payment page.
8. If on the balance of your account in the Domain Name Control Panel there is enough money to pay for the registration of the domain, press "Pay" button , otherwise choose "Add money", have a look at alternative ways of adding money).
   PLEASE NOTE ! If you can't pay for the domain during registration, your registration won't be complete. And your domain will be available for other users to register.

Q: How to add money to the domain account balance?
A:PLEASE NOTE ! While choosing a way to add money to your balance, consider that money will be entered on your account manually by our finance department stuff, and not automatically as it's done in online payments. That's why it may take up to 24 hours to transfer money to your balance account since they have been credited to our account. You can top-up your domain account by any of the following:

• bank transfer
• credit card
• PayPal

• in the details of payment specify "domain payment client login __________" (you should specify your login to enter the Domain name Control Panel).
• email to billing@hqhost.net notifying about the payment.

Q: What if there wasn't enough money on your balance during the registration of the domain name?

A: If there wasn't enough money on your balance to complete the registration, you should:

1. Enter the domain name control panel.
2. Top-up your account balance.
3. Move to the menu section "My Billing" - "Pending invoices and debit notes" where you'll find the list of oustanding operations and your incomplete registration.
4. Tick the outstanding operation and press "Pay".
5. Follow instructions in point #7 "How to Register a New Domain".

Q: How to view the transaction history in the domain name control panel?
A: You should do the following: go to the menu "My Billing" - "Transaction List".
A few tips:

1. If there's any sum in the column "Pending Amount", it means this transaction process is pending. To complete or delete it go to the "My Billing" section of the menu - "Pending Invoices adn Debit Notes".
2. The amount of money added to your account is given in black.
3. The amount of money taken from your account is given in red.

Q: Can I get a refund from my account in the domain name control panel?
A: Yes you can, but the sum of the refund will be no bigger than the one on your account. To do it email to billing@hqhost.net and specify there:

1. Your login and password for the domain name control panel.
2. The amount of money you want to us to refund.
3. The account you want money to be transferred to.

1. Our hosting clients can transfer money to the account balance in the domain name control panel.
2. We can refund money only to the account you made payments from.

Q: How can I view registered domains?
A: To view registered domains move to the menu section "Domains" - "List Last 10". You'll see the list of 10 last domains you registered or tried to register. If the domain name isn't registered, you'll see the link "Domain name - Activate Now".
If the domain name is registered, you'll see the link "Domain name -Click to manage".
If you have more than 10 domains, use the search option from the menu "Domains" - "Search" - "Domain Registration Search", enter the domain name and click "Search" button.

Q: How can I extend the domain name registration period?
A: Take the following steps to do it:

1. Check if there's enough money on your account current.
2. If there's not enough money, you should top up your balance.
3. Move to the menu section "Domains" - "Search" - "Domain Registration Search".
4. Enter the domain name and click "Search" button.
5. Next to the domain name go to "Domain Name - Click to manage".
6. Choose the option "Renew service".
7. Specify the number of years you want to renew service for.
8. Press "Submit".
9. Act according to point #7 "How to register a new domain".
